Robert Erickson

In 1986 I founded Grand Teton Plumbing. Before that I worked across manufacturing, restaurant, retail, hotel, agriculture, transportation and construction industries. I even worked for awhile as a horse trainer. Then I served an apprenticeship as a plumber and earned my license. Next I earned my Master Plumber’s license. That’s when I went into business for myself and started GTP. I built up the company from nothing and sold it nearly 20 years later.

In 1994 I began tutoring English to Hispanic immigrants as a volunteer — to help people assimilate into the community. That decision changed the direction of my life. I developed new skills and a passion for helping people with English. In 2005 I moved to Mexico City. In 2006 I founded English Class CDMX.

For over 30 years I’ve worked with hundreds of people, managers, directors, and executives — helping them communicate, lead, present better, and accelerate their careers as a result. I’ve spent my life taking on big challenges, in many industries, in many places, with many kinds of people. I know what it takes to build something real. I know what it means to start over. I know what it feels like to be healthy, free from anxiety, and genuinely happy — and I know the path to get there isn’t always obvious. That experience is in everything I teach.
